Up to £50,000 + Package The Client Our client is a leading commercial glazing, curtain walling, cladding and façade specialist. They are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team. The Role We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to assist in the financial and legal control of commercial glazing, curtain walling, and cladding projects. The Quantity Surveyor will work within the Commercial Team and be involved in all aspects of cost control, coordination, installation/delivery, safety, and completion of our clients' Commercial / Facades projects from the date of appointment to the conclusion of the Defects Liability Period. Candidates must be a qualified Quantity Surveyor with experience as the commercial lead on projects and the ability to run two to three projects concurrently with minimal supervision. The role will require: Proven track record in a similar role, with specific experience in commercial building. Ability to manage numerous projects or manage a division within the business. Good client management skills. Excellent scope management and change control skills. Ability to organize and delegate effectively. Excellent numeracy, grammar, and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent reporting and negotiation skills. Contractual awareness (JCT & NEC experience). Technical understanding of aluminium / curtain walling and different systems of cladding (preferred but not essential if from a main contractor background). Desired Skills & Qualifications Minimum HNC Building Studies. BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying desirable. CSCS Card. RICS accredited preferable. Clean driving licence. Prior use of Construct if possible. Engineering background an advantage.
