About Us: Hill Mcglynn Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading main contractor specialising in fit-out and residential projects across the south east. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Perform risk, value management, and cost control. Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs. Negotiate and procure subcontractors and suppliers. Monitor and control project budgets and costs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide regular reports on project progress, budgets, and forecasts. Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, particularly with educational projects. Ability to manage projects from inception to completion. Strong knowledge of construction contracts and legislation. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, cost management software). Professional membership with RICS or equivalent is preferred.
