About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a mechanical background to join a leading specialist in fire protection. Based in Maidstone, Kent, you will oversee financial and contractual management for major installation projects across the South East. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative and top-tier safety solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Drive project profitability through value creation and cost control. Lead contract negotiations and manage commercial strategies. Review contracts and ensure compliance with governance policies. Manage applications for payment, retention collection, and risk mitigation. Provide accurate monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs). Address contractual matters while maintaining positive client relationships. Support business development and ensure adherence to commercial/legal policies.
About You: The ideal candidate will have: A mechanical background, ideally with experience in fire protection. Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
