Quantity Surveyor required in South East London
GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor, based in SE London, who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work with in their Specialist Contracts Division delivering a range of jobs including: external works, kitchen and bathroom repairs/renewals, AA installations, planned and reactive repairs and general multi trade works.
Duties and Responsibilities
Measuring jobs on the NHF schedule of rates Placing work with our supply chain and managing works in conjunction with established Client OT interface Supporting the senior management team Direct interface with residents and stakeholders Arranging access Pre-start surveys and customer care The position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in this key post
Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor
Experienced in measuring and estimating a range of works using the NHF schedule of rates Proven experience in similar surveying and delivery role with relevant professional qualifications Proven experience in working with senior management and assisting supervisory duties Excellent IT skills to enable real-time reporting Excellent customer care skills with the ability to work under pressure Excellent communication skills in client-facing role
