Are you looking to join a team of well-established Quantity Surveyors on a large project in the South? Our client is looking for a M&E QS to join them on a permanent basis. The role will be heavily focused on site: Approximately 2-3 days per week in the Basingstoke/Reading area Occasional visits to the Isle of Wight (1-2 days per month)
Essential Skills: Excellent communication skills High degree of personal motivation Commercial acumen Ability to work as part of a team supporting both the operational team and peer group Manage numerous activities across several projects simultaneously Outgoing personality essential for dealing directly with clients and their design teams Strong negotiation skills Flexibility regarding working across all areas of the business, meeting the requirements of this challenging position Enterprising, commercial, and planned approach Willing and able to take responsibility Ability to add value to the role, department, and company as a whole Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally from a contracting background, with a strong track record in NEC contracts (experience in sectors outside of M&E will be considered)
