We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist design and build construction firm based in Maidenhead, Berkshire with a busy order book of concurrent £3-£15m housing and commercial D&B projects.
As Quantity Surveyor, your key responsibilities will include: Interpreting construction documentation (architectural and engineering plans, drawings and specifications). Applying knowledge of construction methods and materials to estimate and monitor costs, from concept design to completion. Managing budgets and contractual needs of construction projects. Conducting risk assessments and value engineering. Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor with: Proven experience in quantity surveying within residential construction design and build sectors. Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying. Outgoing, motivated, and engaging. Ability to own/take on responsibility with a desire to develop your career.
In return you will receive a salary of £65,000 - £75,000 plus bonuses, benefits, and career development.
