Our client are a market leading, forward thinking and rapidly growing independent security systems integrator that niche in specific markets such as oil and gas, public space, transport, and critical infrastructure. This is a permanent role. Due to an increase in workload they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor with M&E experience to join them. On offer: • Competitive Salary • £6,000 annual Car Allowance • 26 days Annual Leave Bank Holidays (with one week salary sacrifice holiday purchase scheme & carry over available) • Remote & Hybrid working • 5% matched pension scheme • Life assurance 4x annual salary Ideal candidate: • Strong background in Quantity Surveying, ideally within an M&E or Security background • Strong financial skills • Strong communication skills • Experience of the JCT and NEC 3 & 4 standard suite of Contracts • Knowledge of Construction Design Management Regulation Duties will include: • Provide contractual advice to the business and operational delivery teams. • Administration of the commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects and contracts. • Management of project costs, identifying opportunities for savings and driving value. • Preparing and submit payment applications and assess sub-contractor applications. • Administer contractual terms and conditions for suppliers and sub-contractors • Proactively identifying risks and manages variations and changes to contracted scope. • Prepare and submit KPI’s, job costings and financial reports as necessary. • Assess potential contractor and supplier claims and make recommendations for settlement. • Finalise contractor accounts and close out contracts.
