We Build Recruitment are looking for an office-based Quantity Surveyor for a well-established fitout and interiors company.

We are looking for someone that can work off their own initiative and can work well as part of a team as you will be required to oversee a team consisting of yourself as the quantity surveyor, an estimator and a purchaser.

Duties: Manage projects through the entire project lifecycle. Prepare estimates, cost plans and tender documentation using various forms of measurement and contracts. Be comfortable measuring schedules of works and bills of quantities/activity schedule production. Manage and prepare both tender and contract documentation. Price and prepare financial reports and cashflow forecasts throughout the duration of contracts and provide general post contract cost management and control. Provide input into the financial aspects of change management. Carry out re-measurement of quantities with contractors if necessary and prepare and agree final accounts and claims. Prepare final accounts for clients that are suitable for audit.

Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor You must have prior experience with fitout/refurbishment/interiors packages Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong time management skills to ensure you meet agreed deadlines Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office
