An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor/ Cost Manager to join their busy and expanding Infrastructure projects team. Responsibilities:
Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders involved in projects. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance and ensuring alignment with project objectives. Contract Administration: Manage and administer a variety of contracts, ensuring adherence to project objectives, governance frameworks, and best practices. Implement contract change management processes effectively to keep projects on track. Cost Management: Monitor, forecast, and report project costs accurately to completion, ensuring alignment with approved budgets. Proactively identify and manage cost variances and maintain contract cash flow integrity. Prepare and submit applications and valuations in a timely manner. Requirements: You will be working as a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager ideally for a Construction Consultancy, Contractor or working directly for the client focusing on projects in the Infrastructure sector (for example: Power/ Nuclear, Renewables, Utilities, Defence, Highways, Rail or Aviation). Demonstrated expertise in contract management, ideally with experience in NEC3 - must have experience administering the contract. Proficient in cost management, valuation, change management, and cash flow forecasting. Comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry, including procurement routes and technical considerations.
