The successful candidate will work for a manufacturing/construction company renowned within the fenestration and facades sector. You will be: Reviewing existing contracts and new tenders to support the commercial/Sales team. Contract negotiations prior to completion of any agreed sale and committing to the terms laid out, outlining and clarifying any changes required and working with solicitors where required. Summarising contracts and helping to direct the wider team to stay within the contract specifics. Building monthly applications or invoices, reviewing client’s payment notices and ensuring these are in-line with works carried out. Working with the Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered to contract. Reviewing and completing monthly cost analysis reports, including assisting with forecasting projects. Liaising with the Project Management/estimations and sales team to ensure all variations to contract are identified, captured and ensuring everyone is up to speed. Assisting the team with the management of any project delay notices and financial implications that are associated with them. Liaising with Clients/Project Management to ensure smooth handover of completed works. Attending final account meetings and negotiations to agree final accounts and retention releases. Dealing with and actively involved with the subcontractors account, including negotiating and raising purchase orders and agreeing monthly valuations alongside the Project Management team. Helping management with any disputes over contracts. Attending client meetings to support the team with regards to any site issues, financial disputes or any contractual agreements. Attending and contributing to meetings as part of the Commercial team. Skills/attributes required: Ability to work under your own initiative and part of a team. Possess excellent organisation, prioritising, interpersonal and communication skills. Must be agile to change and pragmatic. Be a collaborative team player and be comfortable working in a high pressure, fast paced environment where identifying needs, providing solutions and adding value is a necessity. Commercial Awareness and be a creative problem solver, understanding the financial implications of daily decisions. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and equality. Possess a pleasant, welcoming yet professional manner. KPI's: Ensuring prompt payment for projects. Identifying and securing variations to projects.
