The Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial and contractual success of construction projects. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to manage costs, contracts, and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Preparing and managing project budgets and cost estimates. Procuring materials, subcontractors, and services in line with project requirements. Administering and managing contracts, ensuring compliance with terms. Conducting cost analysis, valuations, and financial reporting. Monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying risks, and maintaining profitability. Preparing interim and final accounts, as well as cash flow forecasts. Advising on contractual claims and dispute resolution. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. About You To excel in this role, you will have: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction industry. A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, CostX, or similar). The ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
