Position: Quantity Surveyor
The Commercial Director for the Newcastle office is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to: Manage subcontract procurement for new housing developments. Work as part of the Commercial team. Value engineer and ensure the commercial viability of projects. It is preferred that you have: Experience working for a housing developer or proven experience with a Build Construction company or civils contractor, particularly in infrastructure (roads and drainage). A strong knowledge of construction. The ability to manage 2 projects while reporting to a Commercial Manager. The role includes a competitive salary of £45,000 to £55,000, a company car or allowance, healthcare, life cover, 25 days holiday, and a generous bonus.
