RTL Group are looking for a QS to work based out of our client's Newport office. Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor working on major structures and civils projects!

Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience as a QS, with knowledge of Reinforced Concrete Frames and Structures. Liaise with Pre-con and Construction teams to build-up and review Tenders. Evaluate and act upon tender information and develop an appropriate bid/procurement strategy with other members of the team. Obtain quotes and procure materials, suppliers & sub-contractors. Competent in estimating. Prepare BQs and Take-offs. Prepare and deliver CVRs to Senior Management. Project Cost Control. Manage project-specific financials, from reviewing contracts to final account stage. Knowledge and experience working with NEC & JCT contracts. Deal with contractual and legal matters that arise on the projects. Liaise with clients on a regular basis to secure future projects.
