A loyal client to Sphere is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to commence a new role with immediate effect out of their Newport Office.
Your new company is a large specialist RC Subcontractor, who operates extensively across the South West and Wales. They specialize in RC Frame, Bridge Structures, Water, and Waste schemes.

Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Experience:
Surveying experience (circa 10+ years) - with knowledge of Reinforced Concrete Frames and Structures. Responsibilities: Liaise with Pre-Con and Construction teams to build up and review Tenders. Evaluate and act upon Tender information and develop an appropriate Bid/Procurement strategy with other members of the team. Obtain quotes and procure Materials, Suppliers & Sub-Contractors. Competent in Estimating. Prepare BQs and Take-offs. Prepare and deliver CVRs to Senior Management. Project Cost Control. Manage Project Specific Financials from reviewing Contracts to Final Account stage. Knowledge and experience working with NEC & JCT contracts. Deal with Contractual and legal matters that arise on the projects. Liaise with clients on a regular basis to secure future projects. Qualifications:
Degree level qualifications would be essential.
