The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential construction, with a strong focus on cost management, contract administration, and budget control. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial aspects of private residential projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts. Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor relationships. Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals. Provide regular financial reports and updates to stakeholders. Conduct site visits to assess progress and address financial or contractual issues. Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, particularly in private residential projects. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and project delivery. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office and Quantity Surveying software. Full UK driving licence.
