Key Responsibilities
Contracts Management:
Prepare, review, and manage contracts for projects, ensuring compliance and protecting the company's interests. Systems and Processes:
Develop and implement effective systems and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Budgeting and Cost Control:
Work closely with our Financial Controller to manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and forecast costs. Job Costings and Pricing:
Accurately price jobs, track costs, and analyze performance to ensure profitability. Supplier and Subcontractor Management:
Negotiate rates and terms with suppliers and subcontractors, maintaining strong working relationships. Reporting and Analysis:
Provide detailed cost reports, financial forecasts, and progress updates to senior management. Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate potential risks related to project costs and contracts.
What you'll need to succeed
A qualified Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of cost management and construction processes. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in relevant software tools for cost analysis and reporting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
