As Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to the Senior QS and will be working within a Cost Management team based from the Nottingham office.
Working from home for a few days a week can be offered by mutual agreement.
Project work comprises of live housing and residential projects, healthcare, industrial and commercial/office projects based in Leicester, Leicestershire, the Midlands, and across England.
Work can include both new build construction and refurbishment works.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager job role will involve pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties, although there will be a principal focus on providing excellent pre-contract services to repeat client customers.
Suitable QS candidates must be capable of managing a small to medium-sized project independently.

Desired Skills and Experience
Cost consultancy experience within a UK PQS Private practice environment.
Experience of working as a QS / Cost Consultant / Employers Agent on building projects is preferred.
Capable of managing small to medium-sized projects with a reasonable level of independence.
A combination of pre and post-contract experience is desirable.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
A BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is essential.
MRICS status or progress towards becoming Chartered is desirable.
