Due to a set of large project wins, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to their business. Your new role As Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to an experienced Commercial Manager with a positive and trust-led management style. You will be expected to run your own projects, which will typically be valued at £2 to £5 million and will focus on existing building refurbishments for private and public sector clients. Based in modern offices in the Central Belt, you will be responsible for all commercial elements of your projects, including subcontractor procurement, client management, cost reporting, and budgets. You will be expected to get out to site regularly, and you will have the opportunity to work from home if required.
What you'll need to succeed Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who can demonstrate a track record of delivering projects from start to finish. You will be degree qualified and have a real interest in building construction and how to make your projects profitable. Our client is a leader in their space, and this translates to projects that are generally quite profitable. Your role will be to maintain these margins while ensuring a positive relationship with their client base.
