£350 - £400 per day Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a leading residential developer on a large-scale, high-rise RC frame residential development comprising 400 units. The role will involve overseeing the procurement of key construction packages, including flooring, tiling, and screed. Key Responsibilities: Manage the procurement process for key packages, including flooring, tiling, and screed. Ensure that all procurement activities are in line with the project requirements and budget. Assist in the selection, negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors for specified packages. Monitor performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and timelines. Process subcontractor valuations and invoices for the mentioned packages. Ensure that all payments are accurate, on time, and in accordance with the contract terms. Provide regular updates and reports on procurement, valuation processing, and cost management to senior stakeholders. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale residential developments (preferably high-rise or RC frame). Strong understanding of procurement processes, subcontractor management, and cost control. Experience in managing and processing subcontractor valuations and invoices.
