PW are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a background in residential construction, particularly with small to medium-sized developers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for residential projects.
Conduct studies to ensure project viability and profitability.
Manage and monitor project costs throughout the construction process.
Prepare and submit monthly financial reports, including cash flow forecasts.
Liaise with contractors, architects, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions.
Negotiate contracts and manage contract variations.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to contract law.
Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
Knowledge of residential construction processes and practices.
In-depth understanding of contract law and its application in the construction industry.
Experience managing high-end residential projects is highly desirable.
Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Membership with a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS) is an advantage.
