Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Surveying preferred. Experience in NEC TSC contracts essential. Project values from £0.25m to £1.2m. Good communication skills needed, with a practical site visiting approach carrying out full measures. Responsibilities

As the

Senior Quantity Surveyor , you will: Be an integral member of the commercial team supporting the Commercial Manager. Build strong relationships with internal and client counterparts as well as managing members of your team to attain their full potential. Manage commercial projects from pre-contract stage through to completion, ensuring contracts returns are maximised, with complete forecasting across all within your works. Engage and manage sub-contracts including tender enquiries, award and assessment of monthly payment applications. Support the production of monthly CVRs. Produce both internal and client forecasts. Produce and substantiate associated Final Accounts. Ensure all company and client processes are followed to minimise commercial risk. Work with your team to ensure all work completed is accurately valued and followed through to revenue collection. Ideal Candidate

5 years practical experience in a similar role. Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Good oral, written communication; and presentation skills with strong numeracy and analytical ability. Process driven with strong commercial awareness and good negotiation skills. A car/allowance is available with this role and therefore you must hold a full UK manual car driving license with no more than 6 penalty points. You must be able to travel across the region of work. Bonus scheme operates and a contributory pension scheme. Ongoing training and mentoring will be provided.
