They are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage and lead their commercial and estimating teams, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional project outcomes. Manage and mentor the commercial and estimating teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Prepare, monitor, and control budgets throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring cost efficiency. Oversee the preparation of competitive, accurate estimates and tenders, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals. Lead the management of contracts, including issuing variations, negotiating terms, and resolving disputes. Direct the procurement process, ensuring subcontractors and suppliers deliver cost-effective, high-quality services and materials. Oversee valuations and applications for payment, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Identify financial and operational risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them and safeguard project profitability. Work closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery and financial alignment. Produce and present detailed cost reports, forecasts, and final accounts to key stakeholders. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of commercial and estimating operations. Requirements:

Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or M&E sector. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and financial management principles. Conversant with NEC3, NEC4 and JCT suite of contracts. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail. Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field (e.g., RICS-accredited degree or equivalent).
