Quantity Surveyor Location:

45,000 - 50,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports. Tendering: Lead the tendering process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and selecting suppliers and subcontractors. Valuations: Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and project cost control. Contract Administration: Administer contracts, manage variations, and ensure compliance with contractual terms. Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess progress, measure works, and ensure projects are on track and within budget. Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data to provide insights on cost performance and identify areas for improvement. Client Liaison: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Requirements: Education:
Degree or HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience:
Experience in a quantity surveying role within the construction industry. Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, CATO). Numeracy:
Strong numerical and analytical skills with an attention to detail. Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Organisational Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Problem-Solving:
