Role : Quantity Surveyor
Location : St Albans, Hertfordshire
Salary : 40,000 to 55,000 + car & package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a major highways project in the South East. Working closely with the joint venture partners, the Quantity Surveyor will support the Senior QS in the commercial management of reactive and planned works to ensure one of the busiest roads in Europe remains operational regardless of the challenges it faces. Responsibilities: Supporting the Senior QS with measurements, valuations, and cost reconciliation for all works. Providing the project leadership team with analyses of commercial progress, supporting with CVRs and cost forecasts. Working closely with stakeholders and the commercial leadership team to address any commercial matters that arise. Providing support in relation to the claims process. Assisting junior members of the team.
Minimum Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in highways maintenance, utilities, or similar fields. Experience using the NEC contract. Excellent communication skills.
