Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge?
The company you will be working for is a widely recognised Tier 1 Main Contractor. Working on building projects anywhere up to £1000m in value, the variety of work here is something to keep you excited. Covering sectors not limited to new build, refurbishment and associated fit-out works, with particular expertise in MoJ, education, healthcare, commercial and mixed-use sectors.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working initially on a mixed-use project with support from a Commercial Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting accurate cost estimates, budget management, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely cost advice. Analyzing contracts, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies. Preparing detailed bills of quantities and tender documents. Evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids and negotiating favorable terms. Monitoring project progress and variations, ensuring alignment with budgetary and contractual requirements. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our cost management processes.
With a strong pipeline in the Midlands market, you can expect to be involved in a variety of projects and never be pigeonholed into a sector.
