Senior Quantity Surveyor needed for our Stoke on Trent based client.
As Senior QS, you will manage budgets and contractual relationships of multiple building projects.
Responsible for providing support to the Commercial and Project Team Division to manage and control costs, maximizing profit margin with proactive involvement in procurement and project coordination, cost management, and reporting. Assist in carrying out the monthly financial reviews on projects and forecasting final accounts, cost, and sales margin. Provide commercial support to project teams, maintain commercial information, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims, and any additional payments.
Review subcontractors' invoices and applications for payment, putting applications on CIS Manager. Attend site on a regular basis to check subcontractor invoices.
Price variations and send out pricing inquiries to subcontractors and suppliers.
Control the Variation Instruction process (VO) or change order, alteration to the scope of works in a construction contract in the form of an addition, substitution, or omission from the original scope of works.
