We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, strategic, and charismatic person to join our team as a Quantity Surveyor working with a Water Company on the Repair and Maintenance Contract.
Responsibilities:
Management of subcontractors and accounts Supporting the Commercial Manager and management of the commercial team Management of client disputes and internal auditing Maintaining the commercial risk register Overseeing weekly valuations and confirming accuracy of measurements Cost analysis and cost reduction initiatives Contract review and rates analysis Production of CVRs for all projects
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following: Extensive quantity surveying experience is essential along with a high level of commercial awareness and the ability to analyze problems and offer solutions Proven experience in compiling complex subcontract orders including the allocation of risk and supporting the operational team Demonstrated experience of NEC and the management of change Inspiring, influential, and charismatic communication skills with experience in effectively landing key messages Problem-solving skills and exceptional Excel skills Experience working in the Civils sector is highly advantageous, but not essential
