Complete prompt monthly applications for payment. Monitor project costs and prepare cost reconciliations in line with valuations. Provide quotations to clients for variations, ensuring that only those that are commercially agreed are completed by the production team. Manage client accounts ensuring that any payment shortfalls are highlighted and dealt with in a timely manner. Complete monthly forecasts with the production team ensuring the successful commercial performance of a project is monitored and maintained throughout the duration of the contract. Procure subcontractor and supplier packages, negotiate packages, and manage subcontractor accounts. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients. Mentor and support Trainee and Assistant Quantity Surveyors or team members as required. Ensure each project team has all of the latest information including drawings and details of tender allowances. Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality, and compliance with contractual requirements. Maintain organised project records, including contracts, invoices, quality assurance, and correspondence. The Successful Applicant will:
Hold previous surveying experience at a similar level. Hold a full valid UK driving licence. Be willing to commute to sites across the regions operational area. Have industry knowledge within construction/house building/groundworks. Ability to multi-task to department needs, plan and prioritise and shift priorities quickly in a fast-moving environment. Have excellent communication across all business levels. Build long-term external relationships. Package
