Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in: Commercial lead for multiple Surfacing schemes and frameworks operating in the South East reporting directly to the commercial manager. Purpose of the role and your responsibilities:

Monitoring of costs & maximising value Managing key Supply Chain Partners accounts and subcontracts Preparation of cost/value information for periodic/monthly reporting requirements Prepare accurate forecast with contracts managers for budget setting Financial assessments through to final accounts SCP sub-contract order preparation & assisting with procurement Responsible for change management and valuation of change Other duties that may be required as part of the commercial function. Formal qualifications required: NEC4 contract experience is crucial to this role. BSc Hons degree in Quantity Surveying Full driving licence Skills required:

Analytical thinking and problem-solving An effective communicator both written and verbal Strong numerical and financial management Excellent IT skills Organisational skills Great interpersonal skills Accuracy of work with great attention to detail Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to work to challenging deadlines Experience required: Steady work record with previous experience in a similar role. Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of NEC suite of contracts and frameworks Personal qualities:

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn Respectful to others at all times Positive with a ‘can do’ attitude Flexible in terms of hours worked We are Investors in People accredited.
