Chevron Traffic Management sets up temporary road or lane closures, diversions, or pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe while roadworks are underway. About the role of Quantity Surveyor: We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the Regional Commercial Manager in delivering and exceeding the budgeted performance and providing relevant information to the Commercial and Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for the submission of monthly valuations, providing cost substantiation, preparation and submission of EWN & CE’s, as well as attending regular meetings with the client and supply chain partners. Travelling is part of the Quantity Surveyor role as we have depots across the UK. Therefore, you must have a full, valid UK driving license and your own transport. Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor: Help in managing costs, suggest journal requests if needed. Review monthly management accounts and key performance information and identify areas for improvement. Monitor and maintain the data within the Company Inhouse Works Management System. Ensure the timely and accurate billing of all work carried out within the region, meeting client specified application/invoice dates. Manage the Early Warning and Compensation Event process as set out in the Contract. Manage client disputes face to face and create a strong client link with timely responses to enquiries. Create In-Contract pricing, estimates, and quotations, following through to final account settlement. Assist the Regional Commercial Manager with Aged Debt, cash collection, and escalation if needed. Help prepare revenue reports to facilitate the preparation and publication of monthly management accounts. Contribute to the overall management of commercial aspects of all contracts, ensuring costs and revenue are recorded in the correct periods. What good looks like for a Quantity Surveyor: 2 to 3 years experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in Traffic Management, Construction, Utilities, or a similar industry Excellent negotiating skills Good understanding of the NEC form of contract Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite Confident in working with IT/Digital system-led solutions to commercial management Understanding of management accounts and financial reporting processes Good communicator and team worker Ability to build new and existing relationships with clients and suppliers Full UK Driving Licence So, if you want to join a winning team and be part of an innovative organisation focused on company growth and employee progression, click on the apply button today. **We welcome applications from veterans** *Ts & Cs apply INDWC
