We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Bristol. The business is privately owned and operates out of several regional offices across the UK with a group turnover of circa £100mil. They undertake projects across the commercial, social housing, education, and healthcare sectors valuing up to £15mil, predominantly based in the Bristol region.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

Due to a succession of key project wins, the team is now looking to expand and is keen to bring an additional Quantity Surveyor into the team. As Quantity Surveyor, you will either be responsible for your own smaller project or work as part of the commercial team on a larger project. You will be reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

Involvement in pre-construction activities Procuring and managing sub-contract packages Dealing with variations Liaising with the client on monthly valuations Conducting monthly CVR's Dealing with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role: Hold a construction-related degree / HNC Have experience working within a main contracting environment Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract Live in a commutable distance to Bristol and be happy to travel to site / office as required Have the full right to work in the UK
