QUARRY MANAGER - GLOUCESTERSHIRE / WELSH BORDERS
- PERMANENT - up to £57,500 per Annum
ARM is working with a leading building products and construction solutions company who currently have a vacancy for an experienced Quarry Manager based in the Forest of Dean.
About You:
You will have significant experience of working within a quarry or related area. You will hold an SHE NVQ Level 4. You will either hold or be in the process of obtaining a relevant degree level qualification. You will have good knowledge of quarry operations, regulations and H&S requirements, as well as legal requirements. You will have demonstrable management experience of working with a diverse workforce, that includes support, driving excellence and performance. Ideally, you will hold one or more of the following QCF Level 6, IOSH or NEBOSH qualification. You are required to hold a full UK driving licence for this position.
What you will be doing:
This position will see you running a successful quarry. There is a team of 11 people within the team, with two managers supporting you. The quarry is a multi-million pound business and you will be responsible for operations, financials, reporting, safety and quality across the whole site.
This position is based in Forest of Dean and will be fully on site.
The salary is up to £57,500 and includes an 8% company bonus and company car.
