Quilter’s Financial Adviser Academy is designed to help you easily transition into this rewarding new career with support, confidence, and assurance.

If you currently work in financial services, you’ll already be aware of the high demand for financial advisers, and the great opportunities this career path can offer. Or, if you come from a different industry, the Quilter Academy is committed to making it easy for you to start in this fantastic, growing sector.

If you can answer YES to these questions, we’d love to speak to you:

  • I’m looking to switch industries, or I am returning to work, or I’m looking to move from an employed adviser role, to starting my own business.

  • I have good attention to detail, strong maths skills, and can learn to analyse financial information.

  • I’m experienced in MS Office and have worked with data management systems.
  • I’m ethically minded and want to do the best by customers.
  • I have great communication skills and enjoy building lasting relationships.

With the Financial Adviser Academy, you receive:

  • A fully supported 14 week programme, where you will build on the academic and technical knowledge from your qualification, by developing the wider skills you’ll need as a financial adviser.
  • First 7 weeks cover areas including business development; Quilter’s induction; and adviser skills training.
  • The final 6 weeks of the programme allows you to consolidate all the knowledge you’ve gained, and to prepare you to start building your financial advice business and engaging with clients.
  • Financial support for the first 13 months.
  • Guaranteed client opportunities provided in your first year.
  • Once you are authorised as a financial adviser, your development doesn’t end there. The Quilter Academy will continue to support as you progress towards becoming a fully competent adviser. Lasting 26 weeks, you will work one-to-one with your field coach to embed and enrich your adviser skills.
