Job Description We are looking for a Lead Accountant to take ownership of delivering monthly management reporting, statutory accounts, and key statistical analysis for entities in Southern Europe. Reporting to the Country R2R Manager, you'll lead a team of management and assistant accountants, providing accurate, insightful data to support strategic decision-making. This role offers the chance to work across diverse areas of finance while gaining exposure to senior finance and functional leaders. This opportunity is a secondment until September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Manage monthly Group management accounts, providing insights on financial trends, and supporting budgeting and forecasting. Enhance processes, ensure compliance with statutory reporting, and collaborate with both internal and external teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Manage key stakeholder relationships and contribute to decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Oversee the submission of monthly management accounts, consolidations, and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and internal control compliance. Assist local Financial Controllers with budgeting, forecasting, and mitigating risks. Coordinate statutory reporting, manage audit processes, and collaborate with the Group Tax team on tax reporting. Build relationships across regional teams, global functions, and senior stakeholders to solve problems and improve processes. Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with financial systems and controls.

What We Are Looking For We're seeking a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post-qualification experience and strong communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders. You should have experience in preparing management accounts and working under pressure while maintaining accuracy and integrity. Knowledge of systems like HFM or X3 is a plus. You'll be self-motivated, confident, and ready to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
