Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities
Audit services with regard to their compliance with legislation relating to radiation and laser safety and advise on corrective actions as necessary. To act as deputy section leader. To personally act as RPA and MPE to sites that are the responsibility of the post holder. To contribute to the development of RPC's services. To participate in scientific research and development. To provide radiation protection specifications for facilities using ionising radiation. To advise on the radiation safety aspects of the design and build of existing and new facilities for ionising radiations. To contribute to the organisation and delivery of the section's training courses. Provide advice on legislation and guidance in radiation protection to clients. The post holder is required to keep up-to-date with current legal requirements. Person Specification

Essential Criteria
RPA and MPE certification. HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist. Experience in RP or more. Desirable Criteria
RWA and LPA certificates. Experience of working in a department providing commercial RPA services. 10 years experience in RP or more. Experience
