Our client company is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day priorities in solving clients VHF/UHF Radio, Telephone, Networking & PC hardware related issues based out of our Richmond, BC office. Compensation:

Direct Hire, Wage and Benefits Negotiable Job Duties

Coordinates, prioritizes and resolves issues encountered by customers. Analyze, identify, and restore system failures and equipment malfunctions. Performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing equipment. Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications. Manages technical products, services, logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers. Troubleshoots technical problems and recommends actions to company or customer representatives. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Install & maintain digital wireless communication equipment in the VHF, UHF, 800 MHz bands operating on trunking or conventional modes. Install & Maintain dispatch console systems. Manages statement of work to meet customer and contract requirements. Contacts customer, collects feedback, and establishes/maintains good relationship with customers. Qualifications

Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with RF testing equipment and troubleshooting skills. Be self-motivated and able to work effectively both in a team environment and under minimal supervision in the field. Completion of a practical course in the RF Radio & Electronics (an asset). Completion of a practical course in CompTIA A+ or equivalent (an asset). Travel 30%. Will be working in various locations where valid Canadian citizenship, valid driver’s license and vehicle are required. Monday to Friday workdays with rotational on call.
