Responsible for performing a variety of support services for the Diagnostic department. Responsibilities Assist modality staff in preparing room for patient exams, including stocking and cleaning of area. Contact appropriate medical facilities, nursing units, and other healthcare providers to obtain pertinent patient information/prior exam reports required for testing of patients. Distribute reports to physician offices and other healthcare providers as requested. Transport patients to maintain workflow and patient throughput when necessary. Assist patients to dressing areas if necessary. Assist with moving patients from stretcher to scanners/patient movement. Coordinate paperwork/reports on patients throughout the department and to Radiologists. Deliver oral contrast to other areas of the hospital for patient prep prior to testing. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications and Specifications A High School diploma is required. Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting is preferred.
