As a Radiology Assistant in our Wessex Hospital, your role calls for equal excellence in both administration and people skills. You’ll be adept at working quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail. You’ll also need a caring nature and the ability to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy. Facilitate our high-quality service ensuring a high level of patient care, respect, and dignity. Undertake appointment bookings. Work closely with our Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers, and Radiology team. Be involved with clinical audit and other administrative duties relating to your role. Accurately input data into radiology software CRIS and patient management software Trakcare to ensure correct billing of patients. Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion. To Succeed As a Radiology Assistant, You Will Have

Level 2 Qualification in Healthcare. Experience within a work environment, preferably within a customer-focused / people-focused setting. Basic IT skills. A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy. Willingness to undertake administrative tasks to ensure the safe and effective running of the Radiology department. Work well within a close, supportive team. Willing to go the extra mile to ensure the patient has a positive experience. Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills. Helping you feel good.

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is a stunning 46-bedded private hospital in West Hampshire with specialisms in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Women’s Health, and Spinal surgery. The hospital also benefits from having onsite Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and Hydrotherapy so we can give our patients a complete package of care. There are 16 consulting rooms with specialty outpatient rooms, 46 private patient bedrooms with en-suite facilities, a 24 hr resident doctor on site (RMO), four operating theatres, and one endoscopy suite.
