Radiology Assistant | HCA | Private Hospital | Band 2/3 equivalent depending on experience | Full Time | Permanent | Sutton Spire St Anthony's have an exciting opportunity for a HCA to join the imaging team as a department assistant. Founded in 1904, Spire St Anthony's Hospital delivers care through skilled and dedicated staff working together. With a completed £27m development investment, we provide very high quality healthcare to patients around Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London. We have six operating theatres covering a wide range of specialities and procedures including Ortho, Gynae and Cardio. There is an ITU department providing care and accommodating more complex patients. We have a number of developmental training courses and progression opportunities available for our ambitious employees. Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient's health and well-being to the appropriate person Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies Who We're Looking For: Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment Experience or knowledge of imaging desirable but not essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations Benefits for Bank Colleagues: Competitive rates for bank colleagues who work on a flexible basis Weekly payment for bank colleagues Free onsite car park, saving an average of £50 per month Access to Blue Light Card discounts Free uniform Free DBS Full induction, including mandatory training updates Knowledge, support and guidance through your recruitment journey from Spire's specialist Resourcing Team We commit to our employees' well-being through work-life balance, ongoing development, support and reward.
