An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high achieving Quality Manager to support the Radiology Directorate Management team within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. The post holder will be a key member of the team charged with the design, implementation, and continuous monitoring and management of the Quality System for the Department of Radiology. Main duties of the job

The post holder will have the skills and ability to develop and lead on Governance strategy and plans within all areas of Radiography using modern methods of quality management and ensure quality and process control are central to effective Radiology services, which is vital to the clinical governance and risk management within those services. The overarching requirement of this post is to ensure that all aspects of quality relevant to the Directorate are maintained and enhanced. The post holder will lead on governance issues and will work closely with the Directorate Manager, Professional Head of Radiography, and Modality Superintendents. The role involves ensuring that staff are trained in accordance with Ionising Regulations (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 and associated legislation with radiation protection and patient safety. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. About us

Qualifications

Professional knowledge of Radiography attained through appropriate Masters Degree or equivalent experience, skills, and knowledge In-depth knowledge of radiation protection legislation IR(ME)R 2017 HCPC registration Diploma in Quality Management Experience

Substantial previous experience in Radiology; Experience of IR(ME)R2017 Regulations Skills

Developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels; Able to provide and receive highly complex information Able to carry out human resource planning for a service Disclosure and Barring Service Check
