Taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the workforce and plant on site Liaising with the client as required Ensuring smooth progress of projects whilst meeting budgets Making sure contracts are handed back to the client as per requirements Safeguarding GRCL’s commercial, production and safety issues as defined in the scope of works detailed at the start of projects To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate the following credentials:
Strong civil and rail experience Understanding and working use of Network Rail and British Standards Ability to work together in a team environment Technical, analytical, and numerical design abilities Outstanding communication skills and demonstrable presentation skills Flexibility to travel throughout the UK as and when required and availability to work weekends and nights Knowledge of Network Rail and London Underground design and build processes Civils, Drainage, Piling and Temporary works experience A full UK Driving Licence Personal Track Safety Certificate (PTS) SMSTS Certification in the use of various handheld power tools CSCS card Global Rail Construction has an outstanding reputation for employee retention and our success lies in the quality and diversity of our people and our commitment to training and developing our staff.
