Global Rail Construction Ltd is part of the RSK Group and is a leading UK provider of design and build services to clients in the rail and transportation sector. The company is a principal contractor for UK mainline and metro railways across a number of disciplines, which include signalling, mechanical, electrical and power (MEP), telecoms, civil and structural engineering, maintenance, and renewal, providing a fully tested and commissioned service, on both Network Rail and Transport for London controlled infrastructure. We are currently seeking a full-time Railway Infrastructure Setting Out Engineer to deliver an effective, efficient, and safe service for the company. The role is ideally suited to a career-minded Setting Out Engineer. To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate the following credentials: Strong Civil and Rail experience Understanding and working use of Network Rail and British Standards Ability to work together in a team environment Technical, analytical, and numerical design abilities Outstanding communication skills and demonstrable presentation skills Flexibility to travel throughout the UK as and when required and availability to work weekends and nights Knowledge of Network Rail and London Underground design and build processes Civils, Drainage, Piling, and Temporary works experience Car Driving Licence LU ICI Ideally a TWS Certification in the use of various handheld power tools CSCS card About us: Global Rail Construction has an outstanding reputation for employee retention and our success lies in the quality and diversity of our people and our commitment to training and developing our staff.
