Mechanical Project Manager

on behalf of a well-established and reputable engineering firm in the UK building services industry. Job Summary As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve managing project teams, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee mechanical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery. Manage procurement, resource allocation, and scheduling to optimise project efficiency. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards. Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and promptly address any issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Skills & Experience Required A minimum of 5 years experience in a Mechanical Project Manager role, managing large-scale projects in the building services or engineering sector. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and infrastructure solutions. Proven leadership and project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and teams. A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is desirable.
