Salary:
Circa £42,000 per annum, dependant on experience
As our next Raw Material Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Raw Material Quality Management System and onsite quality kitchen.
What will you be doing:
Develop Quality Attribute Scenarios for testing kitchen and production lines, using scientific and organoleptic assessment methods.
Ensure there is a robust Raw Material management system in place to ensure the site receipts raw materials that meet the expected standards of Food Safety & Quality.
Drive adherence to the system and work to continuously improve quality standards of Raw Materials and build strong working relationships with site suppliers and procurement.
Compliance, Food Safety and Quality Management: Measures, evaluates and proposes continuous improvements for the Raw Material management system.
Responsible for Allergen reviews, as required by the Quality department.
Maintain the site Raw Material Risk assessments (Segregation, Allergen Control, Integrity, Foreign Bodies, Micro, etc).
Responsible for site RSPO & RFA, Soya, Red Tractor certifications and GEFs audit.
What do we need from you:
Experience of BRCGS.
Ability to analyse raw material specifications and highlight risks to site operations.
HACCP and Food Safety trained.
Auditing skills (supplier and QMS/GMP).
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Facilitation and presentation skills.
Ability to lead and influence initiatives to conclusion.
