We are looking for
Sampling Controller
to sample raw material, monitor quality and communicate results to the business.
The Position
Create and maintain a raw material sampling schedule Create and maintain store plans in conjunction with tableau Process raw material samples and record daily on the appropriate software platform Report results of sampling and trends in a structured consistent format in the daily Raw Material/Grader Meeting. Upload sample reports onto the grading plan and communicate with the Grader team and other stakeholders with the business to allow informed decisions on how and when to grade crops. Regularly inform the technical and commercial teams about the quality of onions in storage to help to communicate to customers. Undertake any other duties as requested by your manager to meet the needs of the business
Imported onion quality monitoring:
May to August (Seasonal) Monitor, record and communicate to the management the quality of imported onions from store at Moulton Bulb Company site
The perfect candidate should have Excellent organisational and communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels within the business Previous experience of sampling onions would be desirable but full training will be provided Good Numeracy skills Greenlight knowledge desirable Weekend work may be required during peak times
Physical Demands Good sense of balance Driving Licence (for manual vehicles) an advantage Ability to work in varying temperatures (depending upon season)
