The company is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer working in React to join our fast-paced engineering team based in Glasgow city centre. In this role, you will work with an international cross functional team in a highly collaborative environment to meet user needs and business goals. The successful candidate must live in Scotland within reasonable travel time of Glasgow city centre, and be able and willing to attend the office in person once a week as a minimum, and additional times as needed. As a Senior Front End Developer you will Design, code, test and manage various applications Collaborate with engineering team and product team to establish best products Follow outlined standards of quality related to code and systems Ensure code quality through best practices, including testing, code reviews, and performance optimization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent industrial experience. 4+ years of demonstrated experience in implementing production-level projects in JavaScript/TypeScript with a focus on React. Knowledge of build tools (Webpack). Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3. Experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and running services in cloud environments like AWS, Azure or GCP. Experience of working with a relational database (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL) Knowledge of practices and procedures for full software design life cycle. Experience of working in an agile development environment. This is a hybrid role with at least one day per week in the Glasgow city centre office and you must be a Scottish tax payer.
