Remuneration Package will be competitive and in line with experience We require reactive maintenance electricians to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Northern Ireland, they will be working in a range of commercial environments. They should be experienced in the role, enthusiastic, and take pride in their work, be technically competent and have a good work ethic. The electricians will work on their own and as part of a team working on long term contracts in a full time post, working 39 hours per week with overtime available. Job Description The role of the Electrician will be pivotal to Irwin M&E’s ongoing growth and success and the job role will include: Attend reactive call-outs to fault find and repair electrical/electronic issues within prescribed timescales, as directed by the Helpdesk. Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements. Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation. Provide professional assessments and advice for customers. Review maintenance work orders, deal with multi-tasking and heavy workloads and ensure all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work. Other duties as requested. Training apprentices and/or coworkers. Carrying out work according to Irwin M&E policies and procedures. Follow Health & Safety procedures. Essential Skills & Experience Time served as an Electrician. C&G Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent. IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition. Driving Licence. Valid CSR card. Desirable Skills & Experience Security clearances e.g., CTC/Access NI. Experience in a similar role. Experience of using a CAFM system for Service reports.
