The ideal candidate will have a strong background in negotiation with suppliers, contract management, problem-solving, and sourcing materials. As ReAgent's Procurement Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth purchasing of materials, optimising costs, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. You will also be responsible for a team. Key Responsibilities: Supplier negotiation and relationship management

Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.

Contract management

Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Implement contract changes and manage contract renewals. Maintain a repository of all contracts and agreements.

Source and evaluate new suppliers and materials to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Stay updated on industry trends and new products. Collaborate with the technical team to understand material specifications and requirements. Team leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Assign tasks and responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide feedback. Create and implement development programmes to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.

Qualifications: CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent would be advantageous. Skills and Competencies: Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within the chemical industry, with technical knowledge of chemistry and the application of chemicals. Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of securing advantageous terms and pricing agreements. Experience in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements related to chemical procurement. Ability to lead a team and create a strong and positive team culture. Please Note:
