Job Title : Real Estate Associate (Asset Management) Location : London Position Type : Full-time Job Summary : Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Real Estate Associate to join their team, with a primary focus on managing and optimizing commercial real estate portfolios. The ideal candidate will assist with asset management responsibilities, including handling lease renewals, tenant relations, financial analysis, and portfolio performance monitoring. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong understanding of commercial real estate to grow within a fast-paced and client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities : Asset Management : Oversee and manage a portfolio of commercial real estate assets, ensuring high occupancy levels, operational efficiency, and portfolio optimization. Lease Renewals : Negotiate and execute lease renewals, ensuring terms align with client objectives and market conditions. Analyze lease agreements, terms, and conditions to advise clients on best renewal strategies. Tenant Relations : Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants within managed properties. Resolve tenant issues and maintain positive relationships to promote tenant retention. Financial Analysis & Reporting : Conduct regular financial performance reviews, prepare budgets, and analyze portfolio cash flows and valuations. Prepare reports on portfolio performance, including lease expirations, vacancies, and potential risks or opportunities. Market Research : Monitor local real estate markets, track trends, and provide insights to clients on market conditions, rental rates, and occupancy levels. Support due diligence for potential property acquisitions or sales. Compliance & Documentation : Ensure all properties comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain and update property records, lease agreements, and other related documentation. Collaboration : Work closely with property managers, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth property operations. Support the senior asset management team in implementing portfolio strategies and maximizing returns for clients. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Experience : 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate asset management, property management, or a related field. Proven experience with lease renewals, financial modeling, and portfolio management. Skills : Strong knowledge of commercial lease terms and real estate market dynamics. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with real estate management software is a plus. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. Key Competencies : Client-focused with the ability to understand and anticipate client needs. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
