Bookkeeping and Financial Services Specialist

to join our team and support our continued growth and success. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company in the real estate industry, where your contributions will directly impact the business and our agents. Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP):

Manage and process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, reconciling statements, and resolving discrepancies. Calculate and process commission payments for agents via Automated Clearing House (ACH) and standard checks in alignment with contracts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensure all invoices and billing statements are accurately reconciled with company records to avoid discrepancies. Accounts Receivable (AR):

Track incoming payments, generate invoices, and follow up with clients to ensure prompt collections. Oversee monthly agent billing, handle inquiries, and ensure all fees and dues are correctly applied and reconciled. Escrow:

Track incoming escrow and issue releases and/or overage payments as needed. Prepare financial reports and conduct data analysis to provide insights into the company's financial health, supporting business decision-making. 1099 Processing:

Manage year-end 1099 preparation and distribution for vendors and agents, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations. Qualifications Experience:

3+ years of bookkeeping or financial services experience, ideally in the real estate industry. Strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, commission processing, and reporting. Technical Skills:

Proficient in accounting software (currently QuickBooks Desktop), Microsoft, and Google Suite. Familiarity with real estate transaction and database management systems is a plus (e.g. ClickUp, HubSpot, Adobe). Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze financial data and create reports that provide actionable insights. Attention to Detail:

High level of accuracy in managing numbers and financial data, ensuring all entries are correct and reconciled. Organizational Skills:

Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with multiple companies within QuickBooks including intercompany transactions. Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial data and collaborate with agents and internal teams. Must possess the ability to delegate or reassign tasks where appropriate.
